Well I gotta force myself to sleep as my Zune is not going to. Hope this problem is solved by the time I leave for work. WTF will I do on my breaks?

Do we have another Xbox-ish problem on our hands. Microsoft knowing a faulty product release, but not saying anything about it?

My hand is slowly raising to wave at Apple. AND I HATE APPLE.

My zune 30 has always worked normally... the battery was pretty low so this morning I decided to leave it running when I left for work to run the battery out for a full charge.
I just went and got it to charge it and pressed a button before hooking it up and I get the boot screen with the progress bar completely filled, but it is stuck. No button combinations have any effect and neither does plugging it into USB. I do hear the drive spinning.

Did this happen to all of us on December 30 2008 or did some of yours die a couple days ago?

I've always been a PC user and I always hear Mac users at work talking about how they don't freeze like windows does... if these MS zunes are all freezing I will not replace mine with another Zune.

I was about to buy a new PC because mine is old... you know, my windows XP DOES freeze all the time... I've used PCs exclusively for 13 years, but this MICROSOFT zune thing may finally convince me to change loyalties entirely. Sounds crazy to even imagine- but I'll do it because I've had it!

Can you sense how happy I am about this?

We need a fix, please!

wounder if Microsoft put something in the lastest firmware to make everyones zune crash and make them buy new lol because this is turning out to be alot of people and its happing at the same time

this happened to me a little while ago too. finally go on the comp to find an answer and see this lol. same thing is happening hard drive moving but no response, im going to just wait till it dies then charge and see.

O and idk if anyone else had this problem but i went to go listen to my music at on my comp using the software and that completely dumped everything. all my music, videos, pics, and podcasts were dumped off and it deleted my device. luckly i hav all my music on an external harddrive but now i need to load all 3000 songs back on

it could just be a glitch in the firmware, or something, i hope we get a fix and not a "well, looks like you're S.O.L" response

seems like all zune 30's froze around midnight pacific time..hmmmm O_o

My boyfriend just took a look at his too, I guess it's doing the same thing. He hasn't updated his firmware recently like I have either... This is really weird. :/
