This is interesting my father just told me that all the clocks in the house that are controlled via GPS went flukey around the same time my zune did. Coincidence?

I'm thinking about just letting the battery drain out and NOT plugging it back in until we have a solution. Too much danger of overheating or some other hazardous annoyance.

there have been plenty of cases where ms, has done repairs on xbox360s, after they were opened and still returned them repaired no charge... on the other hand, it was microsoft that f**ked many people with the Collectors Edition Halo3 and giving us scratched disks....

I wonder if this was at least made possible through the new clock update thingy. :/

This reminds me of an Episode of Stargate Atlantis.

I just hope our Zunes don't build up energy and explode.

Well as I said before, denying users assistance because of your faulty firmware is retarded and has to be some kind of scam on their part.

agreed.

zune 30g doing the same thing as y'all's. i let it die out earlier (luckily the battery was already pretty low) and then recharged it for a while, no luck. came back to life but was still stuck on the loading screen. it just died again and i'm just going to plug it in now.

no, its not. its very likely that this is a firmware problem and that opening up your zune has nothing to do with the problem. BUT, if microsoft decides to do the right thing and repair or replace the zunes and they see that your zune has been opened, they'll blame YOU for ruining the zune.

i just want people to be careful thats all. just in case ms wants to find excuses to NOT do the right thing and replace these lemons

I've decided to take mine off the charging station and drain. Seriously what else can we do? Out of curiosity did anyone here actually have theirs turned OFF at the time? And it turned itself ON?

Well I hope the solution is a simple firmware upgrade. As I live in the UK I can imagine the help and support I'll get is to be told to **** off.

Thats my main concern right now.
