Help with Frozen Zune 30s

Well, this sucks.

Only problem is mine is refurb, so i cant be under warrenty.

Refurb "technically" but only because the guy who bought it kept it in the box, and waited to sell it until the warranty was out.

Same problem here, while just updating the new firmware, my zune 30 had just froze on its black screen with a gray loading bar...

The buttons tricks did not work.

and like that other poster said, if you put your ear to it, you can hear the hard drive spinning

Sorry didn't mean to double-thread, I didn't see this when I posted mine. WTF?? This is weird and annoying as hell. If anyone figures this out post and let us know for sure.

I'm among those who can't afford a new Zune. And I just got my nice Zune alarm clock dock. This sucks...

Until i came to this site i seriously thought my computer had something to do with it because it was charging. Sure am glad it wasnt my computer.

same thing happened to my 30gb I think microreiche added a kill switch to kill all 30s so we have to buy a 120

crazy stuff. I was just about to go to sleep so I turned on my Zune only for me to try resetting it and nothing happening. So I come downstairs to look for a solution. 2 minutes later my bro comes down and is like woah, my zune is the same.

My zune just frooze at the loadin screen i was watchin a movie and paused it and put on the table for a sec and turn back to pick it up and it restarted on its own and now its at the Zune loadin screen i tryed pluggin it in to the pc and my xbox tryed holdin the button down to power off and nothin seems im having the same problems as you
yea same with me Masc0t about to goto bed but i cant goto bed had to come on here and try and find out why it frooze and maybe get it fixed time i read this post when i get up battery should be dead and turn off and maybe i can plus it back in and recharge and it well work
