Question Strange glitch/bug/problem thats really bugging me...

I dunno if this happens to other people, but if I turn off my zune by holding down the play button, it'll go to a black screen. Normal, so far. But no matter what I do, the only way I seem to be able to turn it back on is turning lock on, then switching it back off. Is there a reason for this, or am I not doing something right?

That's a way to kinda turn off the Zune and keep your place in the music/podcast/video that you were enjoying. Usually the way to turn it back on is the play button, but the lock button would work too I would think. Do you realize the music kept its spot, or did it go back to the menu screen? If so, that would mean there's an issue and I would suggest restarting your Zune (hold the back+up on the center button for 5 seconds)

Hope that helps...

Yes you can use play/pause to turn it off. To turn it on just press the zune pad, or the play/pause button and it should turn on. If you turn lock on (and the zune is turned off) the zune will not turn on...
im confused what are you asking?

When I use the lock button, it goes back to the menu, but it keeps the place for everything(though, for music, it skips for a few seconds...really annoying). But it's annoying using the lock button, because my hand is small and its slightly annoying to keep flipping that thing.

@Helluvagood: It DOES turn on by flipping the lock switch, its just annoying to do that. But holding the center button for 5 seconds doesn't work... And by turning it off, I mean just holding the play button for a few seconds.

So you're saying when the screen goes black, none of the buttons work to turn it back on?

Precisely. Nothing turns it back on except the lock switch.
