Bought a new zune and can't delete the old one

I lost my zune a few months ago and just purchased a new one, I can sync all my stuff but the old zune still shows up under everything, I just want the old one gone off my options. How do I delete an old zune?

I'd go to your settings and devices then remove the first device.
