Just today I tried adding more music into my collection, but It doesn't recognize my zune at all, it says 'zune is using your zune. To sync status, close that program.' On my zune, it says it's connected, but on the program is asks me to connect it.

You may have another zune process open and not know about it. Usually you want to disable auto start in the Zune options. Go into task manager and click processes. If you are in XP, end all of the ones that don't say SYSTEM on the username except for tskmgr.exe and explorer.exe. In Vista, also do this, but do not end desktop window maneger either. After all of this, start up Zune again, and plug in your zune to see if it works.
