Charges, but no Sync.

I have a 30gig Zune, it has worked flawlessly for almost a year, but now, when I plug it into my computer, nothing happens. The screen on my Zune turns on automatically when it is plugged in, but it doesn't charge or sync. I open the Zune software, but it does not show it's connected. It does not charge, and the computer does not act as if anything is plugged in, nothing. But using the same USB cable that came with it, when I plug it into a universal wall charger, it charges, so I know that my cable is fine. Where should I start now?

first try using a USB port in the back of your computer, not from the hub.
next, try pressing, and holding, the back + up button to reset your zune.
if they don't work try uninstalling then reinstalling the software.

look on device manager and see if somethings up with your usb drivers

Ive done the reset, Ive reinstalled the software, and all my usb's are working perfectly. I plugged it into my friends computer who has a zune and also, nothing happened, no charge, no sync, no nada. doesnt even recognize anything has been plugged in.

Do you have version 2.5 on your zune? if not, update it.
if that's not the problem call 877-GET-ZUNE.

Well I have all the newest software, so I called Microsoft and they told me that I have an internal problem with the Zune, and I asked about hard resetting it, but since it wont sync, if I hard reset it, it will never work again, luckily I still have the manufacturers warranty and they are going to replace it, after 3-5 weeks of course. Thanks for all the help!
