Auto Delete!! Random Genres!! All Albums Missing!!??

for those who may be able to immediately identify the problem; long story short is:

My 30 gig ZUNE is LINKED to my NEW LABTOP *which has NO MUSIC* but everytime i connect my ZUNE, it AUTOMATICALLY says SYNCING on my device, and in the software in STATUS, it says JUST REMOVED, and continues to AUTOMATICALLY delete my music. WHY?

ALSO: on my DEVICE, under ALBUMS, it shows a lil under 50 of them. YET, under GENRE/SONG/ARTISTS it shows ALL my music (serveral hundred albums) WHY? how can i fix this? -- or alternative solutions, like getting music off zune n resyncing..

IS MY ZUNE DELETING EVRYTHING BUT THE ALBUMS LISTED UNDER ALBUMS ON THE DEVICE. CUZ THOSE ARE THE ONLY ALBUMS THAT SHOW WITHTIN THE SOFTWARE, UNDER DEVICE..

AND! under GENRE it has all these categories, which came outta what seems no where.. like RAP, HIP HOP & RAP, EAST COAST, but prior to the my LINKING all these were under ONE category of HIP-HOP. HOW THE HECK DID the tags change ON MY ZUNE w/o me re-syncing, and NO INTERENT for SOFTWARE to retrieve TAG DATA. get what im saying?

STORY: i was trying to sync all my music FROM ZUNE TO COMPUTER. i installed ZUNE software. CONNECTED ZUNE... said it required UPDATE. did it. proceeded to copy zune device to collection.

during so, i linked my device for no ass reason to my computer. which i think has something to do w/ this auto syncing ****, BUT i checked all settings, and KEEP IN MY MIND MY COMPUTER HAS NO INTERNET ACCESS (i only installed zune, then left WI-FI area)

my computer started actng up, and i had to restart during the copying. on reboot, i deleted what was already copy to begin once again. thats when i noticed the problem...

PLEASE THO: what is up w/ the tags that came from no where, even ALBUM ART!! i have no internet to d/l automatically. there was no music on my computer. all the music on my zune already has its own tags which ive done in the past, yet randomly all the genres changed and some album art. wtf!?

Why the double post?

Is your laptop the main computer for the Zune?
If not, then you have to set up your Zune as a guest on that laptop. Then it will not automatically sync the content. I did that on my laptop, which also has 0 song, and it didnt delete any that were on my Zune.
