Default AC Charger, Will it work for Zune?

Okay I have this charger in which you can attach a USB Cord.
It is possible to attach the Zune sync cord into it.

I am wondering if I can charge my Zune 30GB through it? The information is following:

Code:
INPUT: 100-240V~ 0.15A, 50-60Hz
DC OUTPUT: +50V =-=-= 0.5A
So any idea if it is safe to charge the Zune on it? Or could it damage the battery and the Zune?

Yes. AC Adapters work with the Zune . Simply attatch your sync cable and plug it in.

BTW, you wrote the number wrong. @50v, it will absolutely kill your zune. (actually it won't kill it, but you won't be able to charge it)

Anyways... it'll work with your zune. If it does, add a 500kohm resister between the positive and data + wire on the usb connector.

Oh thats right. Its not 50V, it 5.0V Silly me.
Anyways, I have plugged it in before, and the Zune showed to charge, but it wont damage the battery in any way right?

Because the output on this thing is 0.5A, when the charges for Zune are 1.0A

Also, what kind of resister do I add. I have never done this type of thing.

If the charger already charges the zune, you don't need to mod the charger.
