Zune Syncing

I am also having trouble with syncing my Zune with my computer. It connects just fine and says that it is connected but on my computer it says that I need to plug in a Zune device. My fear of reinstalling the software is that I might lose all my music that I have downloaded. I have new stuff downloaded but I can't get it to sync with my Zune. Previously I installed Zune on my computer as a guest and it seems like right after that I couldn't get my sync to work. I too am extremely frustrated and need help. My Zune was also registered at the store that I purchased it from and they know nothing about it. HELP!!!!!

You'll still have all of your songs.

So would you suggest reinstalling the software or calling Zune support? Do you think that it would fix itself if I reinstall it or do you think that maybe it's because I downloaded it at work as a guest even though I deleted it back off?

Reinstall will most likely fix the issue as it reinstalls the drivers.

if you call Zune support they will eventually advise you to reinstall the software.
So I'd say just reinstall it, this way you won't have to wait on hold forever =]

whatever you do dont sync as a guest it will resync some songs
