I am also having trouble with syncing my Zune with my computer. It connects just fine and says that it is connected but on my computer it says that I need to plug in a Zune device. My fear of reinstalling the software is that I might lose all my music that I have downloaded. I have new stuff downloaded but I can't get it to sync with my Zune. Previously I installed Zune on my computer as a guest and it seems like right after that I couldn't get my sync to work. I too am extremely frustrated and need help. My Zune was also registered at the store that I purchased it from and they know nothing about it. HELP!!!!!

So would you suggest reinstalling the software or calling Zune support? Do you think that it would fix itself if I reinstall it or do you think that maybe it's because I downloaded it at work as a guest even though I deleted it back off?

Reinstall will most likely fix the issue as it reinstalls the drivers.
