Default Won't Recognize?

So here's the deal. Whenever I connect my Zune to my computer, all it does is charge it and open the Zune software. The problem is, neither my Zune nor my home computer know they're connected. The software says it's not connected, but then how is it charging?

And I've tried switching USB ports, reinstalling the software, AND reseting my Zune.
Any suggestions besides putting my fist through my monitor?

I suggest putting your fist through your monitor.
Try getting the up to date drivers for your Zune. Other than that I couldn't tell you what to do.

I'm having the same problem =/
I called customer support and they told me to uninstall the software then reinstall, which hasn't worked.

idk what to say sorry.

Try draining the battery. Dont know if that would do anything, but its worth a try.
