Default can someone help me please


i plug my zune into my pc and nothing happens its not reading it.do i have to download the software for my pc to read it? also i have a friend that has the zune software on his pc, and his pc isnt pickin up my zune either. is there some kinda of up date i need for my zune

You need the software, but also, sometimes mine does not see the zune when it comes up. I have to unplug the zune and then plug it back in. I could use the wireless part, but I have to charge it anyway<g>

Try resetting your Zune device by performing the following key combination.

Yes, for the computer to see your Zune, you need the Zune software installed on your computer. Also, for the Zune software to connect to the Zune, you need to have the latest software on the Zune. The Zune software should tell you that it needs to update the software on your Zune if it doesn't already have the latest software.

same problem but when i coonect my zune it goes on the pc bum bump (higher bum bump (reaptedely and it just says its chacging and not connected what should i do???

yeah that has been happening to me too. (the repeating beep noise.) idk what to do.
but, megabuckz, your gonna need to install the software to get anywhere.

its confirmed just reinstalling makes the beeping noise go away and makes it so it reconicese the zune
