Need Major Help!

All of a sudden, my Zune is not being recognized by Vista. I have tried everything I can to solve this problem and nothing is working. I even reformatted it, but that did no good. It will sync maybe 10 files or so and then disconnect. How can I solve this problem and sync everything without having to uninstall the device under Device Manager in Windows, reinstall it, and sync maybe 10 files again. If I can't get it to work and have to buy another MP3 player, it will be an Ipod for sure! I am beyond angry at this point! Please help me before I smash this thing!
