The problem with it shutting off has to do with static electricity. Try to ground yourself before you use your Zune.

With videos, you would need to rip the videos off of your DVD's with a DVD Ripping program. Or you could just go to the media section of this site and download the already ripped movies that are already in Zune format.

URGE songs are not compatible with the Zune program. Yes, it is stupid, but that's what Microsoft did. If you really want to use them on your Zune, download a cracked audio converter (also here) and convert them to mp3's

Anything else?

The ripping process is not bad for the DVD, from what I know.

There are some music videos here, too, I think.

A "firmware" is basically the code that tells the Zune what to do with all of it's seperate pieces. A firmware upgrade would increase the amount of stuff the Zune could do with its accessories (for example, a firmware could upgrade the wifi to allow you to go online with the Zune).

All of the "video converters" on this site are just that: video converters. They allow you to convert one style of video, for example .mp4, to a different style, on the Zune it's .wmv. The Cucusoft Zune Suite just converts any type of video you put into it into the Zune format (.wmv). I don't think any of the video converters come with a DVD ripper.

I don't use any DVD rippers, I just use the videos that are already uploaded on this site. If you go to the main forum page, the are under Zune Downloads>Media>Videos. In the videos forum there are Music Video, TV Show, Movie, and Misc. subforums.

If you want to rip your own DVD's, your going to have to look it up on Google and do some research as to the best one.

And don't worry about asking so many questions Where else are you going to ask them?
