Default FM Transmitter

OK, so I have the DIO car charger/FM transmitter. I got it to work OK, but my biggest issue is that while playing music, I get like no bass. I know it's not my stereo and even on regular broadcast channels I get some kind of bass. Is this something to do with the transmitter or are the bass levels in my music lost in the conversion process to the Zune??

I don't know anything about your brand of FM Transmitter, but I got an iriver from Amazon.com ($37 bucks) and it has been flawless. I seriously have not had a single problem, I even had a friend following me in his truck with a car inbetween us and he could hear my transmission perfectly. I have heard a lot of the FM Transmitters are total crap, you really have to check reviews. Also, don't get one that is battery powered if you don't have to. The cigarette lighter ones are stronger.

If you can, or are interested, return the one you got and pick up an iriver. I would have paid twice as much for it.

When music is transfered to file or downloaded from limewire or burned off a cd and then put onto your zune, some song qualities will get worst. I'm not sure about why you dont have alot of bass. Did you change the bass settings? Also do you have aftermarket speakers becasuse your speakers might be blown or just cant produce the bass.

No, stock stereo and speakers and I can just about blow the glass out of my car while playing CD's - so I know it's not my stereo. I didn't change any settings, just picked "rip to Zune". The default format is Windows Media Player, do you think using MP3 as the ripped format would make any difference??
