So here's the problem, I've converted a few videos to .wmv and .mp4 as per the guidelines stated by Microsoft. Then I put them in my collection in the zune software and try to sync. Everything is going fine, the software says converting and then eventually it gets to syncing. Then it just freezes at a random point. I can still move around in the menu and click stop sync but it doesn't actually stop the syncing. The point where it freezes seems random because sometimes it doesn't go past 0% and sometimes it gets up to 99%.
I've looked around the internet for hours and I've searched through pages here to try and find a solution to this but none of them have worked. Hopefully that was clear and made enough sense. Thanks for your help. |

Actually, I found it in my car. I have no idea who left it in there and nobody has asked me if I found a zune. All that was there was the zune, a case, and some earphones.
But anyway, you think it's a problem with the zune device? |

Ok I've been messing around with a few more converting programs and reinstalling the software several times and it seems that no matter the file size or video length, it just won't get on.
This is what has usually been happening; It starts converting the file up to around 75% then suddenly it jumps to 84% and doesn't say converting anymore. And it never finishes syncing no matter how long I wait. It's pretty annoying. I can sync music and pictures but I'm not sure what's wrong with video. |

Well, I went and tested it out with some videos I had on my desktop and it synced perfectly. Might it have to do with the fact my laptop has Vista? Either way, at least it's working, though it's a bit of trouble.
Thanks for the help guys. ![]() Last edited by squid+ : 05-04-2008 at 07:05 PM. Reason: ... |
