Zune Software Problems Plz Help

Hey everyone I am having some problems installing the Zune software.
I have installed it on a different computer with no trouble. Now at first
I was getting the error message "Can't connect to Microsoft update site" that
Was coming from the normal installer. So I downloaded the Zune Package
that was going to come with everything so it installed correctly and it
says Launch program now so it does and then locks up and gives me the
option of sending an Error Report to Microsoft. When I try to start the
program back up I get this message:
"Everything is right where you lef it. Zune is recovering from an error
and needs to reassemble your collection. You'll need to reconfigure
your device relationship, sync groups, and podcast subscriptions (if any).
Sorry for the inconvenienve!"
So I click "OK" and then Zune tries to open and then it messes up
and asks to send another error report. Now I have uninstalled it and
reinstalled it and that hasen't worked either. Now I didn't get to
add content I haven't even connected the Zune yet, so it couldn't
be any of that. So please any help would be greatly appreciated.
If it helps, I am installed this on a MacBook running Windows XP Media Center
through Bootcamp. I am a computer nerd and am very experienced but this is
one thing that has stumped me.

tried downloading the full version?

Yeah. The version I downloaded the first time was 33mb. Then since it wouldn't work I downloaded the 173mb file and thats the one that installed but won't work.

pretty weird.. try updating the window media center OS then?

Yeah, I am downloading Windows Media Player 11 right now, and then gonna update my system. I just wish there was a way to get it to work on my Mac OS.

When you Uninstalled the Zune Program did you UnZoone it?
