Default music appears in zune device but not in the software

There are songs that I already deleted from the Zune software but it still appears in my Zune device after syncing. So I plugged in again my Zune device hoping that it would recognize that I removed some songs from the collection.
After syncing, the songs are still in my Zune device.

It's very frustrating, and I really don't want to format anything because I already uploaded 18 GBs of music. Please help. Thanks a lot.

You can remove the songs easily.

Go to Device ---> Music

Then delete the songs manaully. Also did you have sync groups?

Do what Man. said, then run the media reset tool.

Thanks, this actually works. All I need to do was to reset the zune so that the software would recognize everything.
