Help w/ WME encoder and sync problems

Hey everyone, this is my first post (woohoo)

So I recently bought a white 30GB Zune and downloaded the Windows Media Encoder because that seemed to be what a lot of people used and liked. I followed a guide from the Zune Thoughts website (sorry but I couldn't find a better user's guide) and was under the assumption that this would allow me to just transfer the file right to the Zune. However, when I connect my Zune, the file still takes forever and says "converting". I left it on overnight because of it's incredibly slow speed and when I woke up the file was still not done. I am unsure as to why it needs to convert again and why it takes so long. Can someone offer any help?

Depending on your movie or video you want to convert, you should make your own profile for converting.

I can make custom profile for you if you tell me the video codec specifications of your original videos.

You can found that out easily by using a program called "media info"
