PLEASE HELP! Zune 30 wont do ANYTHING!

Ok, so yesterday I purchased a pink 30gig Zune, took it out of the packaging and let it charge for over 3 hours. I installed the Zune software cd and connected my Zune player to my pc. It wont do ANYTHING! I have a big white battery image on my screen and it wont start, it wont restart, it wont do a thing. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
Please help!

I tried charging it.. it has been charging for hours on end and it still wont do anything... no turning on, off, or resetting. my pc wont pick it up either

mine did the same thing....you just have to wait. After I waited and waited...it worked. But if it doesn't, then I don't know what to tell you...sorry.
