zune soft doesnt recognize device

Hi, i finally got the new zune software installed.

The problem is now, that my software doesnt recognize the device.

The device has the 1.4 firmware.

This is the scenario

I connect my zune, i get the bling BLING!

New hardware detected

I choose automatic find the drivers

I get an error message

"the specified service does not exist as an installed service"

thats it.

What should i do?

i tried:

diferent port. diferent usb cord.

remove software and installing again, resetting pc and zune.

should i format my zune 30?

Try running UnZoone, and reinstalling.

Update Windows and update Zune Driver.

yea,like above run windows update and install all critical updates. If your running media center 2005. you have to have rollout 2.you can get that in the oppinal updates in windows updates.

first of all, never use the Windows hardware installer on Zune, it won't work. It can't even find the drivers to run the Zune. What you do is:
open up Zune software.
Plug in your zune
on your zune, hold [back] button and [up] button at the same time. It should restart your Zune and the Zune soft will detect it.

uninstall everything and install from scratch

Dont use add/remove programs. Use unzoone to unistall zune software.

Unzoon doesn't work for me some reason. It crashes.
