Default Faulty or Removed media?

Apparently, I have some faulty or removed media on my zune...Just listening to it regularly, and I go to a song, and it says 'We can't play this because it's faulty or has been removed,'

Then I connect it, and it starts vibrating and clicking, and it says 'To recover from error, Zune must delete all contents.'

I click okay, and it keeps repeating the question...I'd like to think that iti's supposed to do that , but..

Thanks guys...it keeps saying 'To recover from an error, all things need to be deleted, press 'ok'' When the software says "Uploading Zune device, this make take a minute, don't disconnect.'..do I really need to keep hitting 'Okay' on the Device?

I used the 'Delete everything' combo, and it told me to connect it to the PC.

i think u used the wrong one,
u were supposed to use the one that deleted the content not the firmware, just connect to the pc and restore ur firmware
u were supposed to use this one

Press and hold the back + center + right buttons and the zune will delete everything on it except the firmware.

More than likely theres a hardware problem, you need to call zune support and get it replaced.

Now it works, but the software doesn't recognize that it's plugged in.
