Need help converting

I need help finding a program that can convert movies good, and I need it free too... AVS puts a fcking watermark on the movies and I'd go fcking nuts watching the watermark pop-up every 15 seconds... Can anyone help?
Edit: Also what kind of format is the best for the Zune when converting to .wmv ?

i'll just share a link to Alive Video Zune Converter
someone shared it, so here it is:

-Google, Alive Zune Video Converter then download it.
When it asks for reg key put the name as "www.serials.ws"
and then the Serial Code is "1001E-DE64E-372C7"
