I have kind of a little problem...

Sometimes when I want to use my zune, it goes to "hold" by itself, even though the switch is not on hold. And I have to switch "hold" on and off.
Its not a big problem but it would be good if I didnt have it.

Just make sure that nothing hits it or whatever. And make sure it's fully slid over.

Try doing a hard reset and resynching everything.

by hard reset, you do mean reformatting right?

yeah mine does that too.
i just click the hold slidy thing a few times and it undoes.
but i dont really think there is anything you can do.

you can try "hard resetting," but i think its more of an actual device problem, not internal problem.

What 'slidy' thing is everybody referring to, the hold switch?

I sometimes get an unresponsive device when trying to turn it on. So I just flip the hold switch like everbody else seems to do.

The same stuff happens to me ZGamer. I just switch it on lock and then unlock, and it works.

But it is annoying, but not enough for me to post about it

I do the same thing, but i have to do it everytime i turn it off.
Its not a big deal though.

The alternate way is to unplug the earphone then plug it back in. At least it works for a friend's zune. My zune 30 is perfect.

that happens to me too, i did a hard reset and still has the problem, so hard reset dosent help. like RAZZ said " its more of an actual device problem not internal problem."

Try downgrading your zune firmware to 1.x version then back to a earlier 2.x version that worked for you.
