Default zun wont recognise video???

Okay, so I downloaded a couple of movies, from Bitlord, to put onto my Zune. I try and play them with windows media player, but all it does is play the sound??? So I right-click, select 'properties'. Under 'type of file' its just says 'Video Clip'.

I try opening it with my DivX player. Both films work fine - plays visual and sound perfectly.

My next step was to open the Zune software and try to find the files. It doesnt recognise them either. Does anyone know how I can get them onto my Zune? Do I need some sort of file conversion software?

My second question is Im guessing alot simpler - How do I delete files from my Zune? It searched my video files and automatically put on about 10 video files I dont want on my zune...I cant seem to find a 'delete' option anywhere.

Any help = muchos gracias.

BTW Im now loving my zune. This is the first mp3 player I have ever bought, and it kicks-ass! The first one I got, the Zune software crashed during installation, and then the Zune crashed too, and wouldn't turn on. I was thinking - oh know, Ive seen alot of mixed messages on forums, Im going to end up hating this thing, and end up buying an Ipod video...I went back, exchanged it with another one and it all worked perfectly first time. Loving the fact it does everything I need to entertain me during my commute to work and back, AND ITS NOT AN IPOD! aah, its nice not being a sheep, and waiting for a decent alternative... (Does anyone else have a problem with the earphones though? I love the magnetic-ness of them, but they are rather large and hurt my ears sometimes..). Thats my only quibble though. GO ZUNE!

Default Re: zun wont recognise video???

The file you downloaded was probably a (divx) .avi. I suggest converting it to .wmv with the AVS convertor.
