Thinking Of Purchasing A Second Zune

My question is this: If I purchase a second Zune player, will my PC and Zune desktop software automatically recognize it or would I have to go through the installation process with the installation disc? If the second player is recognized by both the PC and desktop software, how do I give it a different identity than the first player?

Each zune has different ID's or serial numbers. Your PC will recognize your new zune as long as you have the zune software installed. (You only need one copy). You can recognize your new zune by naming it like you did with your first zune. =)

Do I rename it using the Zune desktop software and if so how is it done??

You will be asked to create a zunetag... simple as that.

I want another zune. But I don't have another $250. I don't know what I would do with 2 though.

Thanks!!I figured that it would be pretty straight forward but did not know that the software would prompt for the device to be named. I see that if you go to "more options" under sync within options devices can be named or renamed.
