Just recently, like any other day. My zune was working fine all day, I get home and charge my zune with an ac adapter and when I come back to see if it was charged, I see a black screen. I try playing music and luckily that works although I can't see anything on the screen. I tried back+down but no luck.
Any solutions? Or just a hardware problem like Microsofts infamous rrod?

Try clearing the firmware. (Warning: This will clear your Zune of all content and the firmware.)
Zune 30 Back-Left-Center
Zune 8/16/80/120 Back-Center-Play/Pause
Afterward, connect the Zune to your computer.
If the firmware clear doesn't work, you may have to see if you're still under warrenty or get a new Zune.
Hey, I'm trying to erase my zune memory, back+centre+play/pause, but all it does is put it to sleep. Are they the wrong combinations or should I just keep trying?
Zune has Black screen, but working music, etc.
