I just got my Zune back from Rapid Repair, but it still wont work. I thought it had a battery problem, because it would die after 15 minutes of use. Before I sent it out, it would continuously turn on and die. I figured the battery couldn't hold a charge. I got it back today, and it's still acting weird. It's charged for almost two hours now, and it still won't power on. My warranty's up by the way.

I've never used Rapid Repair, but have you called them? I would think that, if you paid them to get your Zune repaired, they should have done their part. I wouldn't mess with it until you get the lowdown from them. Did they certify that it was functioning when it left their shop?
They have a really good reputation, and I have a receipt that says they did it. It also says that there is a 90 day warranty, but could there be another explanation? I have a description of the problem here...

90 day warranty, so I would give them a call. Hopefully it's something simple! I'm assuming you checked that the hold button wasn't on? (I could see them turning that on, so it didn't turn on accidentally while in transit)
It's been on the charger for over a day now with a blank screen. When I try to turn it on, it shows the Zune start up screen, but no loading bar. It then turns off, temporarily with the logo still showing, but without a backlight, then completely blank.
Maybe it isn't a battery problem? I tried it unplugged and it did the same thing. Could it be the hd?
I might not be a HDD issue, either. I would normally suggest a firmware restore, but I wouldn't really go that far without calling them, first. You don't want to do something that might give them an excuse to void the 90 day warranty.
The thing is, that's the whole reason I sent it out; to have the battery replaced. It was acting like that before though, so I think it isn't the battery.
