Default Z-cube(HD)

I was thinking of a cool game.

A rubix cube. I like doing the rubix cube and i have a whole load of fun doing it but lugging the cube around can be a huge hassle. It would also be a great way to show off the 3-d the tegra can do.

So pretty much a rubix cube and i know it can be done cause i have see online virtual cubes.

I don't think it was XNA though

They can't really do 3d, I don't think.
But I believe a rubix cube could be done.

Maybe you could have one large side shown on screen, then a mini display of the other sides and you could just drag in whichever direction you want to move that section.

So the Tegra can do 3d, however the XNA API doesn't expose any 3d

There is a 3d game on the way though no information on how the developer did it. Its something Microsoft have comissioned so I guess there is a non public API.

A rubiks cube could easily be done in software though. Its a few non textured triangle so an enterprising developer could probably get it running in the HD.

well, some 3d has been done with a python script from blender, its rudimentary but it probably could be done, btw i have screwed around with 3d cubes online and what not, the controls utterly suck, but with multi-touch it might be different.
