Lightbulb Teeter (For HD)

Can I request a game for the Zune HD?
I'll do it anyways. So it would be pretty cool to get a teeter app for the HD. If you don't know what I mean, here's an image.

Basically a game using the accelerometer to move a ball through a maze.

Just an idea, to anyone with decent dev. skills: it would be sweet if this could get made.

We still need to get used to scripting for the HD, would be a great game though.

Yea, not sure if anyone has started on a zHD game yet but I'm sure someone will make this, if not Microsoft.

I'm already working on this, alongside my "Flick Ahmadinejad". I know I should only focus on one project but it's too tempting and easy to implement to pass up. I'll have something up soon, I already have the ball rolling around on screen, just have to add boundaries and holes. I would like to either make a PC editor for levels, or possibly an in-game editor. We'll see though.

^ Agreed. I wouldn't want to make levels on my Zune, nor do I think others would want to. Just keep it simple, have about 20 levels, and I am sure people would be content. But I'm glad someone is making this, this is great!
Also, post some screens when you have decent progress?

I'll post a screenshot, not very graphically impressive but I'm not much into the artistic side of things. I would love for someone to help out with the graphics. This is just a simple "level" because I'm still working out some kinks with the collision detection on the boundaries. The ball tends to slowly fall through the boundary, and while I have collision properly working for screen edges and holes, the boundaries are a tad bit more difficult.

looks like that old marble game that is on the iPod and the iPhone. that game is fun but can get really annoying really fast

Twanks: in a reply to one of your posts in my "Ball maze" thread, what images do you need? i am pretty handy with Photoshop so i may be able to help out some.....as long as you dont need too much of my time (being married and full time job and all that Jive). and is it just a .jpg file you need of some mazes and a ball or something. let me know and i will see if i can help you out...keep in mind i have no programming background

Just to keep everyone posted, I fully plan on having a playable game by Friday September 25th. I have an editor made, I have almost fully ironed out collision with the walls. Just a few more tweaks and it should be ready for everyone to give me feedback.

About the graphics, yes feel free to help out, there are only three textures.
  1. 25x25 Wall Texture
  2. 24x24 Marble Ball Texture
  3. 32 x 32 "Hole" Texture

PNG format would be preferable, thanks.

One last thing, tomorrow's release will load one level per deploy, until I can spend more time on building a suitable menu it will have to do.

Yeah I'm really sorry for promising the 25th, I still have one critical collision bug that I'm trying to sort out. Other than that, everything else is working great. I already have the editor made and ready to go, I've actually been using it. Just that one critical bug that appears in every project.

Hey I could create some graphics. give me a day. And don't you want and Animated png sequence for the ball rolling? Also wouldn't it be good to make an animation of the ball going in the hole.
