I like it somehow, because in the company I work, I am forced to use up to 6 different passwords, each with its own conventions etc. When I came back from rehab I haven't been in office for 7 weeks and I forgot some of them which ended in phone calls, faxes and emails, not to mention the time I had to wait for resets.
correct me if im wrong, but it'd just be like a notepad with all your passwords in it, you could write em down on a piece of paper and carry that around, but this allows you to have even your passwords secure. so u'd have like ur pc password, login pass for different sites, and login pass for school etc. all on ur zune just in case.

Well if you forget a four digit code that you choose and not have to remember all the other codes that you put in the program then I don't know what to tell you.

This would be a very good idea. For the purposes of simplicity, all of the info could be stored in text files on the compter, one file per password. All you would have to do is deploy it to load these passwords in. And of course, a short password to access the reader in the first place. This could probably done with existing code with a few modifications. I need a 4 digit password to unlock my phone, so I know I've got something memorized already.

this, after i read the first post three times over, is a very good idea. Although i have only three password that i ever use. (One for four digit, one for five digit, and on for six digit password) but yea its a good idea!!
the four digit passcode for me would be easy to remember as i have said before i use it all the time.
Is there any way of implementing a sort of keyboard that the user can scroll round using the d-pad so write down there password on the zune.
And how will this far with remembering them?
Seems like a cool idea but if you have to store your passwords on the computer then put them in through C# it is more difficult than if we could somehow get the same menu you used on the Zune to set the Screen Lock combo.
i know that at work i have to change my combo every 90 Days and i dont have acces to C# so i would rather be able to put the combo straight in.
