Because anyone who requests a game needs to at least roughly follow this template. And you're forced to view it, not read it, you can just click yourself back into the forum without reading a single word.

I wrote othello/reversi in labview once. That would be a somewhat easy game to put into the zune. How about tic tac toe! hahaha.

I know XNA is limited...but you have .net framework still. if you could get access to lower level instructions on the zune...maybe network connection could be possible. Maybe microsoft will release version 3.2 with web browser

Good thread though. I want NES emulator! Tetris,super mario broithers, etc...

Tetris could be done.

back to the network....what if you could fake your pc into pretending its a zune. then your zune could connect to it over the wifi like it was a zune device. And you could have that PC app translate inforamtion for it? Web Browser...?

edit: im going to download wireshark and see if i can hack the transfer protocol. That would be nice

I've been playing with wireless sync...looks like the zune uses ssdp to broadcasts its online and it hands out a device.xml file. Looks like normal UPNP universal plug n pray. But then when i transfer files is when it gets all crazy.....more research is needed into the possible protocol its using to transfer the files. says ptp which google says is picutre transfer protocol and is available for TCP (network). Maybe there is an easy way to decode it.

The upnp info is helpful in getting zune's ip, device name and serial number. I need intel device spy to see if it comes up in there. Makes its easy to figure out possible UPNP/SOAP calls to the device. Probably doesn't have SOAP calls though.

A small file transfer app over wifi would be nice though. without installing ZUNE software...

Cool Not powerfull enough?
is the zune hd not powerfull enough full stop or is it in need of a firmware update to unlock its full potential. ive seen some other demos of the nvidia tegra do some prity cool stuff!
