I have a request for the XNA GAME DEVELOPMENT TEAM or any other pro who would want to start from nothing....

*****Since no one out there(as far as i can see) has posted a completed chess game, I think it would be great if XNA would develop the game. I played their alien game...best game (in terms of consistency and graphix and flawlessness) i played so far... Chess, with multiplayer would be great, as well as for computer....Just an idea...
+++ I know there are others who came up with the idea of chess...Mine was that XNA makes it....*****

Game Name: Chess

Gameplay: Standard chess board with standard chess pieces layed out on the board (fancy chess pieces would be great too)

Mapping:
*Center button: Pick up chess piece / Put down chess piece
*Back button: Show possible moves for the picked up chess piece
*Left, Right, Forward, Back: Move your cess piece(picked up position) / Navigate throughout the board (resting position)
*Play/Pause: Menu(pausing the game)


This would be a great game for a professional development team (like the XNA Development Team).

no its alright i just need people to use the search function as there are literally hundreds of threads long forgotten that people keep requesting and it just fills up everything and pushes back threads that are more original topics. i am just asking that you use the search function next time you make a request.

i finished an alpha version of a chess game which was a "prefab" of xbox chess......works like crap on the zune though...........will need to severely edit.....i'm not even thinking about posting it yet.....it is like in the pre-alpha stages.......we'll see what happens to it after i get back from vacation....

I'm going to Clark this Sept.....I actually requested a NICE game mayde by pros...with my limited knowledge in programming, it will take some time before i make something cool.....i'm better with video and digital art rather than programming

so uhm.......is anyone out there doing or at least are planning on doing chess for zune......the chess i made sucks........i'm surprised this game isn't among the first that is being in progress of being finished while halo and GTA are attempted to be made.....

1) Download this
2) Port it from XBox360 code to zune
3) Contact Alain Zanchetta
4) Ask him if you can redistribute it

Alternate Steps
1) Contact Alain Zanchetta
2) Ask him if he is finished with the Zune Version of that chess
3)
a - if Yes, ask if you can redistribute it
b - if No, ask if you can get what he has and finish
