Default Maze Game
A very simple maze game, just have it randomize the walls inside a set sized plot and have it be first person view walking through the maze. Have the left be turn left, right be turn right, up move forwards, back move backwards, center could be reset and play/pause could be menu. (Back could be flame thrower ) It would be a great way to give a simple example of raycasting I think.

So basically have a Gold Chase game with no monsters or amount of gold you have to get. lol

maybe you could choose difficulty too... from easy, medium, and than hard...
