Everyone: no I have not heard of this game even when I did take Geometry.
So I don't know what this game is about (if someone would be kind enough to fill me in), so I am not excited.

Oh...I thought it was an educational game and then I would have been like where was this game when I needed it to prevent me from making barely B's.
Thanks
That does look real fun though I hope some tech dude decides to make it.

Trouble is that Geometry Wars uses two thumbsticks for moving and shooting plus a trigger for the bombs. Though, you could map the bombs to the play button and then just make the ship always fire where he's heading. Not nearly as fun, but probably the only way you could do this.

^the problem with that is sometimes you need to shoot in a direction different than the one you're moving in. if you could only shoot forward you'd have to lower the difficulty substantially which kind of defeats the purpose of the game.

Exactly. That's why I think the entire idea of "Let's take game X that is really fun on Windows or Xbox 360 and port it to the Zune" is a hugely flawed experiment. You have to design a game around the device for it to be fun, unless you have a very simple game. And, no, Geometry Wars isn't simple. By simple I mean it must use your basic moving and then one extra button. That's about all you get. I recommend people just start thinking up new ideas (get those imaginations going) so that the games produced are actually enjoyable and interesting on the Zune.

Hi everyone, I'm new here!
But yeah, like everyone else had said, Geometry Wars would be awesome to play on the zune, but there's already a handheld version out on the nintendo ds which plays rather nicely (dpad controls your ship, you fire with the touch screen).
