Pinball

Probably already been proposed. But just a simple pinball game for the zune would be reallly fun.

I like this idea. Probably proposed, yes, but it doesn't hurt to remind people, does it?

Maybe use left and right for the respective flippers. Center button to launch ball. Up and down can hit the table.

Yeah, that'd work pretty well, and you could use the play/pause button for either skipping songs or pausing music.

I'd definitely play it.

Me too, when i was bored before i got real pc games i would play pinball on the xp... it was great

Same here.. Good times, good times. Though I was thinking about it and I'm pretty sure this would take a while to code due to all the collision detection necessary

Man, this would be simple to make, I think. I wish I knew how to make games. Too bad I have finals, though. Can't wait till summer. I'll start learning the codes so I can make games.

if you make a more simple pinball table, and use different images for each object the pinball can hit, the collision detection would be RATHER easy to make the code for. There are MANY resources out there for pre-built collision detection engines.

i think the best controls would be play and back button for the flippers but the only problem is that if you hold back button to long the game will shut down left and right arent good for controls cause some times in the game you have to hold both down and it cant read if your holdn both down
