That part about keeping shared songs is definitely true; though, I am not sure about the hard drive hack part.

Yea this is real. All they did was use the HDD hack and put a file like .exe or something and changed the .exe to .jpg. Then what they did was send that file and a real picture to a friend and then when their friend got it on their PC they took it off and changed the extension back to .exe. It has been posted here before.
