Default Harddrive hack

I followed the instructions on how to make it so my zune is a portable hard drive. I managed to get it so my zune appears under my computer, but I can't figure out how to save files on it.
Thanks for the help

You need to start a sync to the device, so it enters into an open mode. Then you can save to it.

Those directions were not too helpful for me, probably because I read all of this in the middle of the night but can you just start the sync and then add a file to it then stop the sync or do you actually have to have your zune sync up? Because that takes a while for me because I have tons of files

you just need something that will give you enough time to start putting stuff on your zune, like sync a movie, then quickly switch to the open zune window and add whatever files you want.

When i try to do it, i open the sync and open the zune storage folder or whatever, but when i try to put something in it it says that the device has stopped working. Why?
