File transfer without app prob?

I read on the site how ppl transfer music and such to there zune without using the zune software but first you gotta sync a large file then shutoff the software halfway through in which you can transfer and delete everything manually till you startup the software again or disconnect the zune. Well i copied everything off my zune then went to paste it back on cause i formatted it for my new computer but the albums were all messed up. How come its like that? It really pissed me off cause now i only have just a few albums cause it would take me forever to sort out all the music to put back on my zune.

The very short explaination of it is that the Zune program is the only thing that can actually make the Zune pick up the files you put on it. It has to do with WPD's in general.
