I'm going to sound so stupid, but I don't understand your instructions at all.

Same error here. Looks like Nurta is linking the files wrong.

Go to http://filexoom.com/files/16916/Publ...Alternator.rar and if you see a bunch of wierd codes and letters, go to File --> Save Page As --> "ZMA.rar" with "All Files" on.

To run it just double click the icon, however you will need Java installed. This release will only work with the default install location.

NOTE: Make sure your ZuneMarketplace.dll file is activated BEFORE running this program.

This is only the alpha release, Beta version will hopefully be released sometime next week, with many new features.

BTW: The title is supposed to be Zune Market Alternator, not Adaptor.

Default my oh my what a great idea

First -- thank you for this. I've been struggling with the Zune software for some time now on my 5 yr old computer.

Second -- i have followed the above tutorial, and when I click the .exe, I get nothing in the task bar as well as nothing new in the task manager. Does this require a reboot? Does the Zune software have to be running/not running when you start the program?

Thanks in advance - arkestra

Do you have java installed? It does not require a reboot, I would advise it not to be running, but something should be appearing.
