Hack the zune to work as an external HD, now what?

Hi All

I would like to hack my Zune so I can see it as an external hard drive, but before I need to downgrade the firmware to 2.5

Before doing that I want to make sure that the hack will do what I need.

Here is the scenario:

My zune syncs with my home computer (which has all the music stored in a internal HD).

My office’s computer does not have much available space on the disk, so I would like to listen the music from my zune, but be able to reproduce the files from any music player on my PC (Winamp)
Note: I understand that I might need to install the zune software on my office’s computer; even when I don’t want to sync it since I don’t have enough space.

Any help will be appreciated.

With the hack, you can listen to music from your Zune. When trying to play music from the Zune, it copies the song to a temporary folder and plays it from there, so you just need enough hard drive space to play the songs to which you want to listen. You can clear the temporary folders to regain the space taken up by the temporary song files.
