To the media center junkies: dvr-ms is finally supported.
It's super easy to install. Just double click on each file and they install automatically then reboot Zune software. This IMO is one of the most useful hacks out yet.
Fudge you pity...Way to crimp my style. Oh well, good job/gratz anyways. Lol.

well i have one problem, wasn't sure wether to go into hack support or this thread. But after i installed the Multi-Extension hack, the Zune would add the files, but then syncing with my Zune it would have the status at "Converting (0%)" then after a few minutes, it would give me an "error" status.
My codecs are currently updated with K-lite, so I'm not sure about what i am doing wrong, can someone please explaing or tell me how to fix this? thanks in advance.

Aslo, do you have WMP11 installed? What version of Windows ae you running? Do you have a graphics and an audio card?
I have windows XP pro SP2, my graphics card is a X800XT. my sound card is an integrated AudioMax7.1. and yes WMP11 is installed. im just trying to get the zune program to sync my .avi file to my zune.

I can't really say what's messed up, man. I tested .avi's personally and they worked just fine for me. I'm running Media Center, though, so maybe that has something to do with it?
i am sorry to say but this is not a break through. i did an mpg version of this in... at most 5 minutes last night. the only other file that the zune software can convert is the avi files because if you look at the DLL file for ZuneLoc then you'll see it already has an AVI folder in it. So if we can create a new .dll file so that the soft ware can read how to convert the files for mpg, mpeg, ect, then i would say this mod is amazing. but right now for this all you have to is open up the registry editor and then just got the software then microsoft then zune then player than extensions then just modify all the files to take what you want it too.
So this just lets you convert .avi files. nothing else. this is because the zune can already read them.

You really have no idea what you are talking about do you? The avi folder in zuneloc represents some resources for avi files built in to the zune program (such as animations). The zune program is a sister of WMP, so it natively supports almost all of the formats WMP does, just not without a little...coaxing.
