When I press Sync, it says it's starting to convert them (it doesn't go past 0% however), and a few seconds later says error. I have WMP11, I have K-Lite codec pack installed, and it's an xvid file. They play fine in WMP11, if anyone knows any xvid to wmv converters for free I could use instead that would be awesome.

I just tried to drag a music video to the sync playlist. It's an .avi after installing this and it just said error when it tried to convert it...
Nevermind it worked for another music video though. However the other one that I got an error on is xvid .avi |

.dat files? Like the ones used by some online games and programs for data storage? I don't think so, especially considering .dat files arent even media, they are just a storage medium for text, like a database.

Not quite. The DAT file theDark is referring to are likely those used in VCD. |

Well there seem to be a few problems being experienced with this hack, so I'll try to indulge a but more:

Also, have you even looked at the contents of the files of which you speak? Quote:

I hope that solves a bit of the confusion. Please tell me if you are having any problems and also include whether you have this K-Lite codec pack installed or not. Can someone also verify for me whether or not it now syncs .aac files? |

You are my new best freind
If I had one complaint it would be file size of the dvr-ms. But that is an issue with microsofts converting The only request i have left is Audible files, not sure if it will play though, it is a DRM encoding, if you are willing to give it a shot, send me an email: cvannice <AT> timedrifter <DOT> com. and I will send you one of the smaller files. Thanks again, You guys rock ![]() Cavan |
