Is there a way of making my zune with the firmware 3.1 run on the software 2.5 or 3.1, to be honest it is only to get it to work with z alternator, so i need no other ability than to get it syncing
in 1.3 it connects the zune (internet unplugged) but i cant sync anything
in 2.5 it says i need updates, (even with no internet)
I read marshallboy on (old software new firmware) thread that he had managed to get a device going by editing the registry, i tried that however and the zune just didnt pick up at all (probably because he was talking about software in 2007 :0!
Yeah, I don't think that hack will work with zune 3.1, it most likely only works with the older firmwares, sorry. You would have to downgrade your firmware. Try this.
Apparently that method works(though I haven't tried it myself).
firmware 3.1 software 2.5 or 1.3 run!
