community-made games restart BEFORE launch??
When I try to install a game of both types and try to launch it on my zune, it shows the lighting-up zune symbol for a little bit then restarts the zune... can anyone help with this?
P.S.; I have zune software 3.1, but im not sure if that has to do with anything.

and thanks for replying.
Sorry to double post, but if at all possible, I would be so appreciative if you could give me an answer by tonight. I have to go on a trip tomorrow, so I wanted to load some games on my zune.
Thanks.

Can you try to install and run Zune Solitaire?
It should work just fine. If it does not, try running it with debugging in Visual Studio to see what error it gives.

Okay, well I tried the zune solitaire, and it still restarts while launching the game.
When I try debugging, I get an error that says this:
An unhandled exception of type 'System.MissingMethodException' occurred in Microsoft.Xna.Framework.Game.dll
Additional information: File or assembly name 'System, Version=3.5.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=E92A8B81EBA7CEB7', or one of its dependencies, was not found.

It is probably too late for you now, but you will have to format your Zune and reinstall XNA onto it. For some reason it thinks you have the XNA runtimes on your Zune, but they are not there. At the very least, System.dll is not there, which is definitely needed.

So the only way i can make these games work is by formatting my ENITRE zune?? If there is a different way to fix this, please tell me!
If formatting is the only way to make the games work, could you please tell me how to format my zune and reinstall the xna game studio on it?

It depends on if you have Gen 1 or Gen 2.

So which do I have to do? Just delete the content or the content and the firmware?
If I need to delete everything AND the firmware, how do I get the firmware back on?

You plug it into your computer and then it should prompt you.
I'd uninstall the firmware too, to be safe.

Sorry for asking so many questions, but when I do format the zune and get the firmware back on, I just connect it to my computer, open the XNA game studio, and re-add my zune. Right?
And thank you so much for helping with this!!

I think so. Make sure the firmware is installed. I'm not sure if you'll have to re-install XNA, but you shouldn't have to.
I never had problems like that.
