No, but the sad thing is most of them don't work because of the 3.1 firmware.
if something went wrong you would just restore your device, only opening up the device voids your warranty.

That was originally made for the original Zune software, I don't think it will work with the new Zune Software. But I may be wrong, if it does work, it shouldn't void your warranty.
like I sadi only opening the device itself voids the warranty.

And that...is it. That' about all that you can do as far as hacks now. But Taylor speaks the truth, the only hacks that void warranties are the ones that involve opening the case, and the only thing like that is repair/upgrading the hard drive.

or buy a new one. in most cases its not worth it to fix it yourself unless you have the knowledge.
