Default Error when opening project file into Visual C#


Hi there,

I just updated to 3.0 on my zune and my old apps didn't worked so I downloaded the new version for 3.0 and when I try to open the project file into Visual C# I got an error saying they can't find the file..

More exactly : Unable to read the project file 'Clock.csproj' - ... - The importing project was not found. Confirm that the path in the <Import> declaration is correct, and that the file exists on disk.

Maybe that already has been solved, if so, please link me to the topic. I'm sorry, it might be a newbie question.. but I would like some help.

Open up the .csproj and check that the import paths down near the bottom are correct as per §1.2.1 of the XNA README.

Many thanks for your help.

It's talking about " C:\Program Files\MSBuild\Microsoft\XNA Game Studio\Microsoft.Xna.Gamestudio.targets "

I don't have this file, there is something like :

C:\Program Files\MSBuild\Microsoft\XNA Game Studio\v3.0\
Microsoft.Xna.Framework.Tools.Packaging.Tasks.dll
Microsoft.Xna.GameStudio.Common.targets
Microsoft.Xna.GameStudio.NestedContent.targets
Microsoft.Xna.GameStudio.ContentPipeline.targets

Edit: It makes this error for everything (games and apps) I try to load in Visual C#...

Edit: Solved! Re-installed MS C# and XNA.
