I have a question about 64 bit, why? What is the reasoning for 32 bit and 64 bit... I have never figured it out.

Download games with RIG (see sig link). RIG works on both 32- and 64-bit Windows, unlike XNA Game Studio.

It is the amount of bits that are used to do the CPU instructions. 64 bit is faster, because it can process more bits at a time. That is the extreme basics of it. I do not know enough about it to explain in great detail.

By far, the main advantage is the ability to have 4 GB or more RAM. If you have less than 4 GB of RAM, it actually makes things slower due to the extra overhead.
