just dropped into this forum to send my regards for these cool hacks. just got my zune at the weekend. Got it from my cos from canada, so i'll be of few UK folk who have one.

anyway. the guest thing works. i need a mp3 player to workng on my laptop and home PC. i'm used to the freedom of my ancient Creative Zen, but glad that there are people who can hack these new toys. truly grand.
kinda tired, so i'll come back and have a good read of this forum tomorrow.

I installed the patch now when I plug my zune in is says:

An error has occured in the script on this page.

Error: 'L_OOBE_TITLE_BAR_TEXT' is underfined

For you guys that are havig the script error, this may have soething to do with the new firmware. I will look into this, but in the meantime, just use your unmodified version of the ZuneLoc.dll.

FYI, on Vista you've got to "Run as Administrator". It's easy, but it works.

I've got a Zune that's updated to 1.3 with software updated to 1.3 and it works great! Thanks for taking the time to cook this up.

First post . .just purchased my Zune last night. Attempted to install no guest patch, but received a script error when I opened the Zuns s/w. I assume I need an updated patch as I have s/w build 1.3.57XX.

Yes, my new hack only works with 1.3.57XX. I could give you the old version, but why bother when you need to update anyways, right?
