@ dancurranjr - I do not see the problem with modding your own version of the Guest hack. In fact, it's actually pretty cool that you found it. Unfortunately, unless you can make an installer for it, it becomes a very large file when hosted. Also, Marshill worked very hard on this hack, so I figure that it's only right that, for the most part, his name remains on it. I'm not going to lie to you, though, I changed the text in the popup, too!
I just want to say thank you for developing this. I just installed Vista and had to use it to get back all my purchased music without using up my 4 restores.
I reverted back to XP today due to Nvidia's lack of quality drivers, and once again this allowed me to get all my music back.
honestly, it shouldn't make a difference as long as you aren't sending it as your own.... hell, i came up with the way to make the CuCuSoft program have your own skin on it in place of the black Zune for those who don't have black Zunes - i told everyone where to find the file to change and how to change it.... we're talking apples and apple juice here, not necessary apples and oranges, but its not the same thing exactly - i think we all need to take a deep breath and enjoy all the FREE crap we get on the internet we can....
that being said, keep the hacks coming! this is a great program and one person finding out about the text shouldn't cause the hacks to stop, if you know what you're doing with a computer (i don't half the time) its possible to find the code in the DLL, and its entirely possible others have figured this out well before dancurranjr did, so nothing wrong with him SAYING he did....

Hey, I’m new to this forum, and just want to get this hack straight. Basically, once completed, this mod will allow me to transfer music from any PC to my Zune, but NOT from my Zune to any PC? Is this correct?
wow, okay, we're going to break it down to very basic, simple computer terms for everyone because they're just not understanding how this all works....
you have a ZUNE and it connects to a PC - one ZUNE, one PC.... THAT ZUNE does not connect to ANY OTHER PC because that's how Micro$oft intended - if you could, then you could steal songs from someone else's computer (they "paid" for the songs, you "steal them" onto your Zune, right?), so they prevent that by having the GUEST account on someone else's computer
when you connect that ONE ZUNE you have to someone else's computer, it says the "Relocating?" screen as you see on the first page of this thread.... that means you cannot transfer files from the ZUNE to that PC or any OTHER PC than the one you first connected it to.... WITH the hack, you can connect the ONE ZUNE to ANY PC you want to (granted you install the Zune software on it, obviously - maybe not so obvious apparently), and transfer songs to the Zune AAAAAAAAAAAAAND from the Zune
seriously, if i need to make a picture diagraming this, just send me your Zune, it'll be much easier that way

thank you for the extensive explanation.. but a picture diagram would be useful.. i could hang it infront of my computer incase i forget..
by the way.. i got it installed and it worked great (great hack, by the way) but my problem is that i have about 4200 songs on my zune.. and only 55 songs show when i connect it to the zune software?
